Sales Development Representative

Socedo is a cutting edge web platform that allows our clients to fill their sales funnel with automated social media demand generation. We help B2B marketers discover, engage and qualify prospects through social media to increase revenue at scale.

Our Sales Development Representative will be responsible for assisting our Account Executives with top of funnel activities to qualify leads, set appointments and help with account management. Our customers are marketers at B2B companies who are looking for a social media demand generation solution. You will be working with a high volume of customers and potential customers to help them see value in Socedo, direct them to the right resources and generally help to scale our sales and customer success teams.

In this role, you will need to:

  • Generate new business opportunities through leads that have already been identified by the Marketing Department.
  • Identify potential outbound prospects based on online behavior and company profiles.
  • Outbound calling to B2B marketing professionals
  • Schedule appointments between leads and Account Executives.
  • Crisply deliver the Socedo value proposition around social media lead demand generation.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience can vary but high energy and passion for the “startup” experience is a must.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with marketing executives via written and verbal skills.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a strong track record of performance from a previous sales role or in college.
  • Experience with CRM software and in high activity sales is preferred.
  • Competitive, goal-oriented, and ready to learn.
